About Pakistan National Tariff Commission (Introduction)
The National Tariff Commission is an independent government investigative body for trade and tariff issues. The commission is responsible for enforcing trade regulations against subsidized and dumped imports of goods that harm Pakistan's local economy. In addition, the Commission analyzes the considerations for the increase in imports. All of these processes follow an international trade system that is based on rules. In addition, the commission advises the government on matters related to export promotion, tariff reduction, and the competitiveness of Pakistani industries.

Candidates with an intermediate qualification are eligible to apply for the following vacancies:
- Steno-typists (Salary Scale BPS-14)
Government recruitment policy allows relaxation of the upper age limit. Applicants who are currently employed by government agencies must go through the proper process and obtain NOCs from those agencies.
Application process and conditions for open positions:
The registration process for the reception of job applications at the "National Tariff Commission" will continue until the last application date on December 14, 2022.
- Pakistani citizens wishing to apply for any of the above job vacancies should apply through the officially announced online platform/portal of the National Tariff Commission, which can be accessed by searching/browsing www.njp.gov.pk
- Only those who are shortlisted and meet the necessary requirements will be contacted for the skill test, written test, and interview of shortlisted and both skill and written applicants.
- Tests and interviews will only take place in Islamabad. Candidates will be provisionally allowed to participate in the written and skill test and interviews, subject to further assessment of their eligibility.
